According to information provided by Turmush, on March 13, 2026, at about 07:20, a collision occurred on the 386th kilometer of the highway between a fuel truck of the "DAF" brand and a passenger car "Hyundai Sonata." The fuel truck was heading towards the city of Osh, while the "Hyundai" was going towards Bishkek.
At the scene of the accident, a girl in the "Hyundai" tragically died. The driver, a young man, was urgently transported to the intensive care unit of the Kara-Kul Center for General Medical Practice; however, his injuries were incompatible with life, and he also passed away.
According to information obtained during the investigation, the driver of the fuel truck was a 46-year-old resident of the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region named K.M. The driver of the "Hyundai" was 27-year-old S.K., who lived in the Kok-Jar microdistrict in Bishkek.
The passenger of the "Hyundai," 15-year-old B.A., was also a resident of the city of Kara-Kul.
As a result of this incident, both young people lost their lives. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is currently underway.
