The Naryn region will be the venue for the main events dedicated to the Nowruz holiday in 2026.
According to information provided by the representative office of the "Kabar" agency, the celebrations are planned to take place in the central square of Naryn, named after T. Usubaliev. It is expected that the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, will participate in the festivities.
The celebration program includes:
- theatrical performances dedicated to the revival of nature and the unity of the people;
- serving the traditional drink sumolok and holding national games;
- a large daytime concert, as well as a gala concert at 19:00 featuring popular artists from the country.
The celebrations will conclude at 21:30 with a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the night sky of Naryn.
It is worth noting that in 2025, the Nowruz celebration took place in the city of Osh with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.
