It should be noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs previously initiated a criminal case under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning corruption, in connection with possible offenses at OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz."
The investigation began after media reports featuring video materials prepared by the State Tax Service, titled "Oil for Oneself: How 'Kyrgyzneftegaz' Was Ruined." These materials mentioned possible illegal actions by company officials.
According to the investigation, employees of OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz" may have abused their official positions and acted in collusion with several affiliated companies, organizing illegal schemes for the sale and distribution of petroleum products. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also emphasized that, amid rising prices for petroleum products in the country, conditions were created for the illegal extraction of profits by certain affiliated structures.
Currently, as previously reported, investigative actions are ongoing with the involvement of specialists from the State Tax Service.
