During the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva raised the issue of Kyrgyzstan's financial expenditures on the campus of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
According to Bekbosun Borubashev, Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations, Russia will allocate 15 billion rubles for the first phase of the project, and a similar amount is expected for the second phase.
As for Kyrgyzstan, its expenses will amount to about 30 million dollars, which includes the cost of land plots and preparation of construction sites, he specified.
Sadyrbaeva emphasized that this is a significant amount for the country.
