Banks issued new loans to agriculture in January amounting to 2 billion soms.

- In January, banks provided the agricultural sector with loans totaling 2 billion soms, according to data published by the NBKR.

The weighted average interest rate on loans was 19.01%.

Compared to last year, the volume of new loans for the agricultural sector decreased by 11.8%.

For reference, throughout 2025, banks issued loans to agricultural entities totaling 40.5 billion soms, with weighted average rates ranging from 15.42% to 18.92%.
