In the Issyk-Kul region, the police solved a case of livestock theft and successfully returned the stolen property to its owner.

According to information provided by the press service of the regional police department, on March 3, 2026, a local resident, citizen A.K., approached the police station in the village of Temir. He reported that on the night of March 2 to 3, unknown individuals had broken into his shed and stolen a three-year-old purebred ram (kochkor).

This theft was registered in the Unified Register of Crimes (URC) of the Issyk-Kul district police department, and a criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 205-1 ("Livestock Theft").

As a result of operational search activities, the criminal investigation officers were able to identify and apprehend the suspect. He turned out to be a 20-year-old resident of Bishkek, citizen A.N. During the interrogation, he fully admitted his guilt.

According to the investigation, the stolen animal had already been resold to third parties. However, thanks to the swift actions of the police, the location of the ram was established. The animal was seized as physical evidence and returned to its lawful owner in accordance with the established legal procedure.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all the circumstances of the case.
