Kyrgyz Enterprises Have Started Supplying Corn to China

- Kyrgyzstan has begun exporting corn to China. This was reported by the Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

According to the information from the department, the first batch of corn, consisting of 25 tons, was sent on March 16, 2026. The export was carried out by the peasant farm "Ziyabidin Ata".

As noted by the department, the export became possible due to the implementation of the Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements concerning corn exported from the PRC to China.

This document was signed on September 15, 2022, between the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.

The department also added that currently, two Kyrgyz enterprises have the right to export corn to China.
