The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, through the Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine, announced the start of corn supplies to China.

The first batch was shipped on March 16, 2026, and its volume was 25 tons. The exporter was the farming enterprise "Ziyabidin Ata," according to information from the Ministry of Agriculture.

Exports became possible due to the signing of the Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements for Corn, which was concluded on September 15, 2022, between the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.

To date, two local enterprises have received the right to export corn to China. This event serves as confirmation of the systematic work of the agency to strengthen the country's export potential and comply with international phytosanitary standards.
