Kyrgyz Musical "Jamila" Conquers the Capital of Kazakhstan

In Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, cultural events are taking place to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.

According to the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan, the musical "Jamila," created by the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov, was held on March 18 with a full house in Astana.

High-ranking guests attended the event, including Marat Tagaev, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan, as well as his Kazakh colleague Aibek Sydykov, along with representatives from the cultural and artistic sectors.

In their speeches, the participants of the meeting emphasized the importance of cultural cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, highlighting that such joint projects contribute to strengthening friendship between the two nations.

The organization of this cultural event was made possible thanks to the support of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, and within the framework of the Decree on holding anniversary events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Chyngyz Aitmatov.

Additionally, on March 17, as part of this program, the ethno-musical "Raymaly and Begimai" was presented.
