On March 19, under the leadership of President Sadyr Japarov, a working meeting was held with participants of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan.
The president's press service reported that key issues concerning the national security of the country were discussed at the meeting, including food and energy security in light of current events in the Middle East.
Members of the Security Council also provided recommendations regarding the list of strategically important facilities in Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of the meeting, instructions were issued to the heads of state bodies, the authorized representatives of the president in the regions, as well as the mayors of the cities of Bishkek and Osh.
