In Bishkek, preparations have begun for the construction of a transport interchange and an overpass bridge at the intersection of Young Guards Boulevard and Leo Tolstoy Street. This was reported by the city administration.
According to Deputy Mayor Ramiz Aliyev, the statuses of the land plots have already been determined. The project plans to involve 64 sites, some of which have legal documents, while work continues for the others.
Questions regarding compensation for landowners will be discussed at the next meeting scheduled for March 24. A plan is also being developed to organize an alternative road during the construction period.
The start of the work is scheduled for April 2026. The implementation of this project will improve the transport situation and reduce the load on the roads in this area.
