- As part of the state program in Kyrgyzstan, each regional entity and valley receives its specialization, focusing on three main areas: agriculture, industry, and tourism. This was reported by Akim Keneshbekov, a leading specialist in the regional development policy management, during a radio program.

For the Naryn region, the emphasis in agriculture is on fodder production, as well as the cultivation of grains and potatoes. Additionally, the development of livestock farming is planned, including sheep breeding and the beef cattle sector.

Regarding industry, there are plans to create production facilities engaged in the processing of precious stones, as well as the production of phosphorus, faience, and finishing materials. There is also a focus on developing meat processing clusters.

In the tourism sector, priority is given to ecotourism, as well as mountain and event tourism based on the region's natural resources, including the Karatala-Japyrik and Naryn nature reserves, as well as the Salkyn-Tor National Park.
