At the Nowruz celebration in Naryn, President Sadyr Japarov announced that over the past five years, 6 billion 800 million soms in foreign investments have flowed into the region.
The President noted that the Tenir-Too region has significant energy potential, and the Naryn River opens up great opportunities for energy production.
He also added that the construction of the "Kulanak" hydropower plant with a capacity of 100 MW is currently underway, which will be an important step towards enhancing the energy security of the region and increasing production capacities. In addition, the investor has begun preparatory work for the construction of the "Kara-Keche" thermal power plant with a capacity of 1200 MW.
