In 2025, Kyrgyzstan's economy is demonstrating impressive growth at a rate of 11.1%. This success, according to Prime Minister Adylbek Kasyamaliev, was made possible by comprehensive reforms and an active investment policy, which he discussed in an interview with the Interstate Television and Radio Company "Mir".
One of the significant factors contributing to this growth was the update of legislation in the investment sector. A new version of the investment law has been adopted, positively impacting capital attraction. Additionally, the country has implemented a practice of annually opening at least 100 new enterprises in industry and agriculture, which is already yielding tangible results.
Kasyamaliev noted: "Last year, we created over 270,000 jobs. Investments in fixed assets increased by 18.4%. For the current year, I approved projects for 113 enterprises, which implies an investment volume of $2.6 billion and the creation of over 12,000 new jobs."He also emphasized that the debureaucratization played an important role in economic progress. For this purpose, the Minister of Justice was granted the status of Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"We also have a program called 'Government Accelerators,' borrowed from the experience of the United Arab Emirates. We identify problems in providing services to the population and businesses, determine responsible state bodies, and set a deadline of 100 days for resolution. Last year, we implemented 12 such programs, which significantly reduced the time required for issuing documents, permits, and licenses in various areas, including construction," he added.Kasyamaliev noted that simplifying procedures, eliminating duplicative functions, and introducing personal responsibility for projects have created favorable conditions for both new and existing enterprises.
He also emphasized the development of production capacities across the country, with particular attention to the regions, to reduce internal migration and ensure employment for the population outside major cities like Bishkek and the Chui region.
