- Rustam Sadyraliyev, Deputy General Director of "Kyrgyz Komur," stated on the radio that there is no coal shortage in the country; however, the main problem lies in its transportation to the regions.

He noted that to ensure the delivery of coal, for example, from Kara-Keche to each village, about 1,000 to 1,500 trucks are needed, as the total supply volume is approximately 700,000 tons. "Such a quantity cannot be transported in one day," Sadyraliyev emphasized.

Additionally, he mentioned instances when previously delivered coal could not be sold in time, and then suddenly high demand arose.

“People began to make mass inquiries, and the stocks could be sold out in just one or two days. In such situations, waiting for a new batch of coal could take several days,” he added.

According to Sadyraliyev, this led to a rush among the population, even though the actual coal reserves are quite large.

“Regardless of the level of consumption, we are capable of fully meeting the needs,” he concluded.
