In Kara-Balta, on Lenin Street, an incident occurred in which unknown individuals damaged birch trees in the alley.
According to local residents, this happened on the night of March 20 to 21. A total of about 24 birches were affected, showing deep cuts. Sap is currently flowing from the damaged trunks, and the ground around the trees has become wet. Several birches have been found with 6-7 cuts each.

Local residents are making efforts to save the trees by covering the damaged areas with clay, and they have also involved a specialist from the housing and utilities sector who deals with landscaping. "The damage indicates that it was the work of an adult, not a child. It seems that a sharp object or an axe was used," they note.

A report on this incident has already been filed with the police. The birch alley where the incident occurred was planted in 2014 and is located near school No. 8.
