According to the city hall, the corresponding decision was made by the head of the municipality on March 16, 2026.
Previously, the head of the municipal enterprise was Tajibaev Arstanbek Duyshievich.
Turmush reported in October 2025 that the updated sector of the municipal car market in the city of Osh has opened, where cars of Korean production are sold.
Renovation work has been completed at the car market in the section where Korean-made cars are sold. City leaders and deputies of the city council participated in the opening ceremony.
Conditions have been created on the updated site, which is designed for approximately 1,500 cars. Renovations were previously carried out in other parts of the car market as well.
In 2025, the land plot on which the market is located was reclassified from agricultural to commercial use. After that, the facility was completely renovated and equipped with modern infrastructure:
- new asphalt has been laid on the territory;
- two additional canopies have been built;
- commercial buildings have been erected;
- 31 dining facilities with a total area of 108 square meters have been constructed;
- sewage, clean water, and gas have been installed;
- modern automatic barriers have been installed;
- the area is fenced with a metal fence and equipped with lighting;
- a video surveillance system has been installed;
- the market area has been expanded to 2.5 hectares (now accommodates about 4,200 cars instead of the previous 2,500–2,600);
- a car wash and sanitary facilities have been additionally constructed.
After the renovation, the service system has been transitioned to a digital format — cash transactions have been completely eliminated, and all payments are now made electronically. This has significantly increased the income of the car market: while the annual profit previously averaged 20–25 million soms, approximately 35 million soms have been collected in the last three months after the update.
