Important results of the probation institute's work
The Minister of Justice of Kyrgyzstan, Ayaz Bayetov, reported a decrease in the number of prisoners and the level of recidivism in the country, summarizing the results of a project called "Justice for All."
According to Bayetov, the probation institute had a positive impact on these indicators.
"Kyrgyzstan's cooperation with the European Union over many years has led to concrete results. Within the framework of this project, the digitization of the judicial system has been carried out, and significant work has been done in the probation service, which will greatly facilitate the work of government agencies and the lives of citizens," the minister added. He also noted that multi-apartment buildings are being constructed on lands freed from colonies for residents.
