At the meeting of the Committee on Labor, Health, Women's Affairs, and Social Issues, the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Medical Insurance for Citizens in the KR" was reviewed. This project received a positive conclusion in the first reading.
Deputy Minister of Health Aibek Matkerimov emphasized that the proposed changes are aimed at implementing mandatory health insurance for citizens, which will be carried out by healthcare organizations working under contracts with the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund. It is also planned to provide free and preferential medical services for certain categories of citizens.
