
At a meeting of the Agrarian Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, the director of the National Institute of Public Health, Jarkynbek Kasymbekov, reported that no research has been conducted in Kyrgyzstan regarding the impact of smog on citizens' health.
However, he emphasized that according to international studies, smog has a negative effect on health, increasing the rates of respiratory diseases.
“In particular, among children in our country, allergic rhinitis has increased by 2.5 times,” he added.
