
The Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanbek Dosmambetov, held a meeting with Mikhail Murashko, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the KR.
During this meeting, plans for the joint implementation of high-tech medical projects were discussed, among which is the creation of a nuclear medicine center in Kyrgyzstan with cyclotrons and the production of radiopharmaceuticals.
These initiatives are already included in the strategic development plans of the country. It is expected that the process of preparing the regulatory framework, signing the necessary agreements, and starting the design work will begin in 2026, with all work completed by 2030.
The parties also agreed on the prospects for cooperation, including technical and expert support, access to modern technologies and equipment, which will be based on mutual interests.
