On March 4, the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Damir Osmonov, visited the Clinical Emergency Hospital and Family Medicine Center No. 9 in Bishkek to assess the ongoing repair works and conditions of medical care.

During the visit, the minister inspected the intensive care, neurology, and burn units of the Clinical Hospital, as well as the intensive therapy wards. He also reviewed the progress of the major renovation of the second building of the institution, where the cardiology, therapeutic, burn, and toxicology departments are being updated.

The repairs began in December 2025 and are being carried out actively.

Based on the instruction of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, 182 million soms have been allocated for the renovation works at the Clinical Hospital and Family Medicine Center No. 9. The completion of the major repairs is planned within the next two to three months.

Afterwards, the minister headed to Family Medicine Center No. 9, where he familiarized himself with the organization of work and measures to improve infrastructure for patients.

Currently, the center is undergoing reconstruction of the entrance area and expansion of premises, for which additional funds have been allocated from the local budget. After the completion of the works, the registration area will be updated, allowing for more comfortable conditions for patients and ensuring the transition to an electronic appointment system.

Also, a phased cosmetic renovation of the internal premises is planned at Family Medicine Center No. 9 in the coming months, which is expected to start around April. During this time, patient reception will continue as usual.
