At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Jaiylobai Nyshanov expressed serious concerns about the safety of patients undergoing treatment at hemodialysis centers. He noted that there is a risk of viral infections and other diseases for these patients.
Nyshanov also emphasized the importance of directing sick patients to specialized medical institutions, as not all hospitals are prepared to accept them and take responsibility for their treatment.
Health Minister Damir Osmonov responded to these remarks, emphasizing that hemodialysis centers are required to provide quality medical services and regularly conduct blood tests for their patients. In the event of illness, the patient should be referred to the appropriate hospital depending on the type of disease.
He also added that about 60% of patients with acute forms of kidney failure have the possibility of full recovery, while those suffering from chronic disease or at stage 5 must undergo hemodialysis for life.
