In Kyrgyzstan, heart and vascular diseases account for 52.3% of all mortality cases

Currently, three main groups of diseases are becoming the primary factors of mortality in Kyrgyzstan: cardiovascular, oncological, and injuries. According to information provided by the director of the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy, Talant Eraliyev, cardiovascular diseases are responsible for 52.3% of all fatalities.

Eraliyev emphasized that cardiology in the country is developing more actively than other areas of medicine. An important task is the standardization of treatment methods. He noted that it is necessary for doctors to follow unified clinical protocols.

Additionally, Eraliyev pointed out the existing problem of a shortage of specialists in rural areas. "This is related to the level of salaries. From April 1, we expect a 100% increase in salaries for medical workers, which, in my opinion, will positively impact the healthcare system as a whole," he added.
