Gas and gasoline production has decreased in Uzbekistan

During the specified period of 2025, according to the information from the agency, the country's enterprises produced industrial products worth 865.8 trillion sums, which is 6.7% higher than the figures for the same period in 2024.

From January to October 2025, the volume of natural gas production amounted to 35.5 billion cubic meters, which is 3.5 billion cubic meters less than in the same period in 2023, and 1.8 billion cubic meters lower compared to 2024.

As for the production of automotive gasoline, its volume reached 974.7 thousand tons, which is 131.5 thousand tons less compared to 2023 and 118.7 thousand tons lower than in the same ten months of 2024.

Oil production also showed a decline, dropping from 602 thousand tons (in January-October 2024) to 547.3 thousand tons, which is a decrease of 54.7 thousand tons.

In contrast, the production of diesel fuel increased to 978.1 thousand tons, which is an increase compared to 877.9 thousand tons last year. Coal production also rose to 6.5 million tons, compared to 6.3 million tons in the same period of the previous year.

Electricity generation in the country reached 69.2 billion kilowatt-hours, which is 3.8% more than from January to October 2024.

It was previously reported about a sharp decline in gasoline production in Uzbekistan in May. The company "Uzbekneftegaz" explained this by modernization and repair work at the Bukhara Oil Refinery.
