The main factor for growth was the increase in savings in tugriks, which reached ₮3.7 trillion (approximately $1.04 billion), of which 84.6% are household savings.
As of November 2025, savings in the national currency reached ₮24.7 trillion (approximately $7 billion), which is ₮3.7 trillion (17.4%) more compared to the same period last year and ₮747.5 billion (3.1%) more than last month. Of the total deposits in tugriks, ₮20.9 trillion (about $5.9 billion) are funds of individuals, while ₮3.8 trillion (about $1.6 billion) are funds of enterprises and organizations.
Savings in foreign currency also showed growth, increasing by 19.4% compared to last year. Additionally, cash in circulation rose by 5.4%.
The volume of foreign currency deposits amounted to ₮5.4 trillion (about $1.5 billion), which is ₮879.3 billion (19.4%) more than in the same period of 2022, but ₮65.3 billion (1.2%) less than in the previous month.
