American multimillionaire Elon Musk shared his opinion on the future of artificial intelligence, stating that by the end of this year, AI could surpass the intellectual capabilities of any human. According to his estimates, within the next five years, by 2030-2031, artificial intelligence will become smarter than all of humanity as a whole.
“I assume that by the end of this year we may have AI that is smarter than any human, and at worst, next year. And by 2030-2031, in about five years, it will surpass all humans combined,” Musk noted during his speech at the World Economic Forum taking place in Davos.
