
A tragedy occurred in the eastern part of India, in the state of Jharkhand: a medical plane crashed with seven people on board. This was reported by the agency Report, citing information from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of India (DGCA).
According to a statement from the agency, the Beechcraft C90 aircraft, owned by Redbird Airways, took off from Ranchi and was headed to New Delhi. On board was a 41-year-old man who suffered burns over more than 60% of his body as a result of the accident.
Contact with the plane was lost just 23 minutes after takeoff, and it disappeared from radar.
The crash occurred in a remote forested area, complicating the rescue operation.
There is currently no information about casualties or injuries. An investigation is underway to determine the causes of the disaster.
