President Donald Trump, in a recent interview with The New York Post, stated that he does not rule out the possibility of sending American ground troops to Iran if it becomes necessary.
He noted that the operation called "Epic Fury," which was launched after attacks on Iranian facilities on Saturday, is progressing "ahead of schedule." According to him, as a result of these actions, dozens of high-profile military and political leaders in Tehran have been eliminated.
“I’m not saying that ground troops won’t be used. I’m saying that it’s unlikely there will be a need for that unless such a necessity arises,” the president emphasized.
