In the Mexican capital, on San Antonio Abad Avenue, a collapse occurred during the demolition of a three-story building. This was reported by the agency Report, citing the newspaper El Universal.
According to information from El Universal, as a result of the incident, one worker died, another was injured and taken to the hospital. Two people remain trapped under the rubble.
Rescue workers and civil protection service employees are working at the scene. A canine unit has also been involved in the search operations.
The area around the building has been cordoned off for safety, and during the evacuation from nearby buildings and shops, 57 people were removed.
