At a briefing dedicated to the outcomes of the sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the Chinese ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Liu Jiangping, reported that around 13,000 humanoid robots were supplied in 2025, with 90% coming from China.
According to her, China has become the world leader in the number of patents in the field of robotics. This clearly demonstrates that neither technological blockades nor containment policies have been able to stop the country's development; on the contrary, they have accelerated the innovation processes in China," the ambassador noted.
Liu Jiangping also emphasized that in 2025, the production of electric vehicles in China exceeded 16 million units, and the country presented its first aircraft carrier with an electromagnetic catapult, which was officially accepted into the fleet.
China is rapidly changing its status from a global manufacturing center to an innovation hub. The successes in the field of artificial intelligence are particularly noticeable — the open foundational model DeepSeek has attracted the attention of the international community, breaking previous monopolies due to its high efficiency and low cost. Many large international companies have already begun using Chinese models as the basis for their AI systems.
