According to the agency, the fire was localized at 20:30. Currently, efforts to fully extinguish it are ongoing. As a result of the blaze, two sheds, about a thousand bales of hay, one utility building, and a "Muravey" motor vehicle were damaged. Additionally, the fire destroyed approximately 400 hectares of reeds, shrubs, and forest plantations.
To manage the aftermath of the fire on the border of Tokmok and the Chui region, an operational headquarters was established.
By the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Boobek Azhikeev, the first deputy minister of emergencies, Azamat Mambetov, arrived at the fire zone. He assessed the work of the equipment and the availability of water supply, after which he took control of the extinguishing process. A survey of the area was also conducted using a drone, followed by appropriate instructions.
It is worth noting that the report of the fire was received on November 26 at 12:13, and strong gusts of wind contributed to the rapid spread of the flames.
In the fight against the fire, 186 people participated, along with 11 fire brigades, two water trucks, one mobile command post, two drones, two mobile pumping stations, as well as five motor pumps and units of special equipment.
