
A large fire broke out in Tokmok, for which the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan sent 117 employees to extinguish it. This information was provided by the press service of the agency.
At the scene, five fire trucks, two water tankers, mobile pumping stations, a fire and rescue unit, and two drones, as well as other necessary equipment, are working.
According to reports, strong winds contributed to the rapid spread of the fire, which covered a significant area.

It was previously reported that 23 rescuers and 3 fire units from Tokmok, an operational group, as well as 7 rescuers from the Chuy region, 17 forest service employees, 10 Interior Ministry workers, and two water tankers from the companies "Suu Kanal" and "Tazalyk" also joined the firefighting efforts.
The work to extinguish the fire is ongoing.
