
In Tokmok, local residents witnessed smoke caused by a fire. According to them, the source of the fire was not visible, but gray smoke and a strong smell of burning were noticeable.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire occurred in an open area where dry grass and shrubs caught fire, resulting in a thick cloud of smoke.
To extinguish the fire, 23 rescuers were involved, including 3 units from Tokmok, as well as an operational group and an additional 7 rescuers from the Chuy region. The operation also included 17 forest service workers, 10 police officers, and 2 water trucks from the companies "Suu Kanal" and "Tazalyk." Drones are being used in the operation to monitor the situation.
