According to law enforcement agencies, around 8:30 PM, a 23-year-old driver of a Hovo truck, T.D.R., was heading west and collided with a Subaru Forester driven by a 44-year-old S.N.E. As a result of the collision, the Subaru driver sustained serious injuries — a fracture of the right arm.
At the scene, it was established that the construction company OsOO "Tekhnotop" was conducting asphalt work. Instead of properly installed road signs, workers left a concrete barrier on the roadway without any warning signs.
Due to the violations, the road supervision department issued fines totaling 75,000 soms.
UPSM also emphasized that all contracting and construction companies are required to install appropriate road signs and barriers during work. Ignoring these requirements jeopardizes the safety of road users and entails legal responsibility.
