A yurt village has opened in Canada, created by a married couple. This was reported by blogger Madina Low on her Instagram page.
Zarina Ismailova, a Dungan from Kazakhstan, along with her husband, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, organized this project just an hour's drive from Montreal.
The open yurt village offers visitors a choice of four uniquely decorated yurts, each with its own amenities — one even includes a swimming pool. According to information on the website, the rental of a yurt will cost between $180 and $200 per day.
At the opening of the yurt village, guests were offered shoro and traditional treats such as horse meat chuchuk, pilaf, and kurut. Artists from the Kyrgyz community in Canada held a concert for all attendees.
