The press service of the Bishkek city administration reported that due to the reconnection to a new water pipeline located in the underground passage of the TSUM, the supply of drinking water will be stopped on December 24 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
As a result of this shutdown, water supply will be suspended for residential buildings, educational institutions, medical facilities, and other social and industrial facilities in the city center.
The following areas will be affected by the shutdown:
- TSUM "Aichurek";
- shopping center "Beren Gold";
- Kyrgyz National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Abdylas Maldybaev;
- news agency "Kabar";
- Central Commission for Elections and Referendums;
- residential building at 98a Shopokova Street;
- Honorary Consulate of Italy.
This shutdown is related to the installation of a new 150-millimeter diameter line running through the underground passage.
The municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" strongly recommends that residents and organizations ensure they have a supply of drinking water in advance.
