A tragic incident occurred in Kara-Kul, located in the Jalal-Abad region — a fire broke out at the reservoir warehouse, resulting in the death of a man. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The fire started on January 19, 2026, in the security room at Ak-Kiya-1 street. In response, firefighters from city unit No. 94 arrived at the scene at 09:46.
The rescue operations were completed at 10:09, when the fire was fully extinguished.
