The incident happened on December 18 at around 11:30 PM on the Suusamyr–Talas-Taraz highway, near the village of Kyk-Kazyk, where the vehicles "Honda Stepwgn" and "Lada Priora" collided.
According to witnesses, the "Lada Priora" was heading towards Bishkek, but due to summer tires that were unsuitable for winter conditions, it was unable to navigate the pass and turned back.
The accident occurred in the Kyk-Kazyk area, in the Aitmatov district. As a result of the collision with the "Honda Stepwgn," which was traveling in the opposite lane, the 22-year-old driver of the "Lada Priora" died at the scene.
