A shocking incident occurred in the city of Tokmok: a man and a woman kidnapped 17-year-old I.T., inflicting bodily harm and attempting to take her life. This was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region.
According to information, on January 18, 2026, a 37-year-old woman, S.A., contacted the police to report the kidnapping of her daughter. She stated that on January 17, around 21:00, at the "Atake" store, unknown individuals named E. and A. forcibly placed her underage daughter into a white Hyundai Grandeur.
According to the applicant, the kidnappers took her daughter to various locations where they inflicted bodily harm on her, including stab and cut wounds from a sharp object, strangled her, and attempted to kill her. Ultimately, the minor was left near the "Zhannat" hotel in the village of Chui in the Chui region.
This case served as the basis for initiating a criminal case under Article 165 (Kidnapping) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational measures, the identities of the suspects were established: A.E., born in 1993, and A.A., born in 1994. They were detained in accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, all necessary forensic examinations have been appointed for the case, and the investigation continues its work.
