In Tokmok, law enforcement authorities detained a man suspected of a series of car thefts. According to the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region, a preventive measure was chosen for the previously convicted citizen A.D., born in 1997 — a two-month arrest.
A criminal case was initiated regarding the theft in accordance with Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspect was detained in accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The basis for initiating criminal prosecution was a statement filed by citizen A.B. on December 6. Between 16:00 and 22:00, unknown individuals secretly entered a green Mazda Premacy parked near one of the establishments in Tokmok and stole perfume products, causing significant damage.
Investigative actions conducted by police officers established a connection between the detainee and this crime, as well as with a number of other similar thefts committed in the city.
Currently, the investigation is ongoing.
