The state managed to reclaim 11.2 hectares of the Karagach Grove territory
Cases of illegal privatization of lands belonging to the National Academy of Sciences have been identified in Bishkek, as reported by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
In this regard, law enforcement agencies initiated a criminal case, classified under part 1 of article 336 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the investigation, it was revealed that in 1997, the Bishkek city administration allocated 11.2 hectares of land in the northern part of the Karagach Grove to the Institute of Forestry and Nut Growing of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic for scientific research. However, this territory was not properly registered, which subsequently allowed it to be divided into plots and sold.
After conducting operational measures, the plot was returned to the state.
