In accordance with the information provided by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of the Kyrgyz Republic, the land plot that was previously in private and municipal ownership has been returned to the state.
As part of a criminal case initiated under Article 336, Part 1 "Corruption" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, regarding the illegal privatization of the National Academy of Sciences' properties, a plot of 11.2 hectares has been returned.
According to the established guidelines, in 1997, a resolution of Bishkek No. 107 allocated this land plot to the Institute of Forestry and Nut Growing of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic for research purposes. However, since the transfer, the plot was not registered with the registration authorities, which allowed officials to subsequently divide it into parts and sell it.
After registration in the State Register, this plot was returned to the state's balance according to the previously established target designations.
It should be noted that within the framework of the criminal case, necessary operational and investigative actions continue to recover previously illegally privatized property of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic to the state balance.
