During a raid conducted by the employees of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, illegal tobacco products were discovered in Manas. This information was received from the press service of the agency.
At the central market of Manas, in one of the hidden premises, 6,012 packs of cigarettes were found. The preliminary assessment of the seized goods amounted to 721,440 soms.
It is noted that this tobacco product did not have the necessary accompanying documents and excise stamps.
“Primary procedural documents were drawn up at the scene in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. Currently, the inspection materials are being prepared for transfer to law enforcement agencies, where a corresponding legal assessment will be made and a procedural decision will be taken,” the message added.
