In Jalal-Abad Region, an 8th Grader Wanted to Carry Out a Terrorist Attack in Schools and Kindergartens

The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) has identified an 8th grader who was planning to carry out terrorist attacks in schools and kindergartens in the Toguz-Toruy district of the Jalal-Abad region.
According to the SCNS of the Kyrgyz Republic, messages about the alleged terrorist acts in kindergartens and secondary schools in the village of Kazarman were posted on the "Kazaraman Advertising" page on Facebook under an anonymous account.

It has been reported that during operational activities, an 8th-grade student known as B.K. was identified. He was under the influence of internet terrorists and acted under psychological pressure, intending to carry out a terrorist act.

Currently, the SCNS of the Kyrgyz Republic is conducting investigative actions regarding the detained individual to take appropriate measures in accordance with the country's legislation.

The agency noted that criminal liability for serious and especially serious crimes begins at the age of 14. For threats of committing a terrorist act, a punishment of imprisonment for a term of five to ten years is provided.
