In the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region, rescue operations are ongoing in search of a 37-year-old man who became a victim of an avalanche on the "Julgur" pasture.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as of today, February 3, 126 people are participating in the search operations. Specialized equipment has been brought in to ensure access to the site of the incident and to clear the roads.
The tragic incident occurred on January 31. The Ministry of Emergency Situations had previously warned multiple times about the possibility of avalanches in the mountainous areas of the country, issuing relevant storm warnings.
