An incident occurred in the Alamudun district involving a shepherd who embezzled and misappropriated property from a farming enterprise amounting to 3.7 million soms. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region.
According to information received from law enforcement agencies, a representative of the farming enterprise "K.J." filed a complaint with the Alamudun district police against J.E., born in 1998.
According to the investigation, in October 2025, J.E., while working as a shepherd, took on the responsibility of caring for 50 calves until April 2026. However, in January 2026, he illegally sold the cattle and lost the proceeds of 3,700,000 soms in online gambling.
In connection with these events, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the embezzlement and misappropriation of entrusted property. J.E. was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation into this criminal case is ongoing.
