A man suspected of embezzlement of entrusted property has been detained in the Alamudun district, reported the press service of the regional police department.
According to available information, the perpetrator sold 50 calves and spent the proceeds on online gambling. The amount of damage caused was 3.7 million soms.
On February 6, the police received a complaint from a representative of the "K.J." farm, who requested action against J.E., born in 1998, who worked as a cattle caretaker.
According to information from law enforcement agencies, in October 2025, this man took on the obligation to care for the cattle until April 2026. However, in January, he independently sold the animals and lost the proceeds.
Based on these circumstances, a criminal case was initiated under Article 210 (embezzlement and misappropriation of entrusted property) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
