The investigation established that on January 27, 2026, a group of unknown individuals contacted the victim using various phone numbers. They posed as employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), and the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, misleading the woman and claiming that her name was involved in cases related to money transfers to terrorist organizations. Due to this, the scammers stated that she faced criminal prosecution.
Referring to the need for "preventing criminal liability" and "preserving funds," the criminals exerted strong psychological pressure on the victim, urging her to carry out financial transactions. As a result, the woman sold her apartment and, following the instructions of the scammers, transferred 10 million 600 thousand soms to the bank accounts they specified.
It later became clear that these individuals were fraudsters, and the victim suffered significant financial losses.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Employees of the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs conducted investigative and operational measures, as a result of which the identities and whereabouts of the suspects were established. In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, A.K., born in 2000, S.N., born in 2004, and B.A., born in 2004, were placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs.
Currently, the police continue to conduct operational-search activities to clarify all the circumstances of the case and identify other individuals involved in this crime.
