According to law enforcement agencies, on November 15, a citizen identified as S. N. filed a complaint with the district's Internal Affairs Department. He reported that on November 13, in the residential area "Ala-Too" on 23rd Street, two strangers, having gained his trust, deceitfully obtained $29,850 from him under the pretext of selling a Toyota Land Cruiser 300, after which they disappeared with the money.
In connection with this incident, the investigative service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District initiated a criminal case under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of the investigative and operational search activities, the suspects were detained: D. S., born in 1982, and K. K., born in 2001. They were taken to the investigative service, and in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, they were placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
